Rasmus grew up on the farm, Poulsenseje, which includes the forest in which the first Løvtag cabins were built. He got the idea to build treetop cabins in 2012 and has since worked hard to make it happen. Rasmus is also founder and director of Useeum, an app for museums, as well as an independent communications consultant.
Rasmus Lybæk
Sigurd Larsen
Sigurd is the founder of Sigurd Larsen Design & Architecture, working within the fields of both architecture and furniture design. In addition, he is a Professor at BAU International in Berlin. Sigurd joined Løvtag in 2016. He is responsible for the innovative architecture of the cabins as well as project management of the construction process.
Nanna Balsby
Nanna Balsby owns the consultancy firm Sightseers, which works with outdoor and sustainable tourism. Nanna became a co-owner of Løvtag in 2016, where she works on concept development, building applications, and daily hotel operations. In 2021, she took over the forest property Birkelund on Bornholm, which has five holiday apartments and three Løvtag cabins.
Lasse Lybæk
Lasse grew up on the farm, Poulsenseje. He is a forestry and landscape engineer from the University of Copenhagen. For the last couple of years he has spent much time in developing countries working with sustainable forestry. Lasse became part of Løvtag in 2016, ensuring that the cabins have the least possible impact on the trees and the forest.
